Tempeh is a traditional Indonesian, fermented, living food. It is a highly nutritious vegan, gluten-free source of protein, which is easily digested by the body. Tempeh is delicious in stirfrys, salads, and many other recipes. Fresh, unpasteurised tempeh is so much healthier and infinitely tastier than commercial tempeh, which has been pasteurised to increase shelf life. I sell unpasteurised tempeh at our local famers markets. Here I share with you how you can make your own homemade tempeh.
